The Effect and Proper Management of Refuse Collection in the Urban Environment

Abstract
The disposal of the organic waste products generated by the ever increasing population and rising level of standard of riving is becoming a serious problem. The geometrical growth of the present population rate has tremendous effect on the increase of the air, soil, and water pollution that lead to the health problems of the residents in the affected areas. In this respect, the problem of refuse collection must be reexamined and problem of refuse collection must be reexamined ed and studide from the social and economic points of view. In order to conduct the necessary survey for this study, first of all, the following research must be undertaken: 1). On site storage, 2). Refuse collection, 3). Disposal, and 4). The education for the public and the workers in this profession. In addition, the local and central government authorities must set up special regulations and make comprehensive plans on the long-term basis as well as take strong administrative meaurements in terms of controlling refuse because of its enormous impact on the public health. Other factors to be considered are the policy maker¡¯s effort to eliminate communication barriers in receiving critisms and constructive suggestions spoken by community members is regard to sanitation services, and the active involvement of public in the entire planning process.
